According to its official website, Allica Bank was founded in London, received its banking licence in 2019 and is a UK bank focused on established businesses. With offices in Milton Keynes, Manchester and India, it says it serves more than 25,000 businesses across the UK. It offers businesses the Business Rewards current account with cashback and an instant access savings pot, notice and fixed term business savings, commercial mortgages, business loans, asset and growth finance, overdrafts and invoice finance, with a relationship manager for every customer. Personal customers can open 95 and 180-day notice accounts and 6 to 24-month fixed term savings; the minimum investment is 10,000 pounds on these accounts and 20,000 pounds on business savings. Accounts are managed through online banking and an iOS and Android mobile app. The site says deposits are protected by the FSCS up to 120,000 pounds. According to the Bank of England list and the FCA register, Allica Bank Limited is authorised by the PRA to accept deposits and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA.
