According to its official website, Bank of East Asia UK Branch is the UK branch of The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA), incorporated in Hong Kong in 1918, which has about 120 outlets and some 8,000 employees; its London branch opened in central London in 1990 to serve the Chinese community, followed by branches in Birmingham in 1997 and Manchester in 2013.
