According to its official website, Beverley Building Society, founded in 1866, is one of the UK's longest-established societies and a mutual owned by its members; it says every penny of profit goes back into strengthening the Society and serving its members. Its single branch and head office are at 57 Market Place, Beverley. It focuses on good-value savings and mortgage products and specialises in helping people underserved by the traditional mortgage market. Savings include instant access, notice, fixed rate bonds, regular savers, Cash ISA, Junior ISA and business accounts; mortgages cover purchase, remortgage, self-employed, self-build, later life, interest-only, family-assist, mixed-use and buy-to-let. The Instant Access account opens with GBP 1 and is managed by post and in branch.
