The Bidvest Group acquired The Rennies Group, including the Rennies Foreign Exchange business, in 1998; the group was granted a banking licence as Rennies Bank in 2000, and the bank was rebranded as Bidvest Bank in 2007. It is headquartered in Sandton (1 Park Lane, Wierda Valley).
