According to its official website, Billhop is a B2B payment service that lets companies pay supplier invoices with their corporate credit cards even when the supplier does not accept cards; it was founded in 2012 to address low card acceptance in the B2B space. The service covers extending payment terms and preserving cash by paying by card, paying one-time and low-volume suppliers without onboarding them, batch payment files, ERP integration, approval workflows, reconciliation reporting and international payments. The site announces that Billhop has been acquired by Ramp. According to the site's legal information, in Sweden Billhop AB is a payment institution licensed by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen, FI identification no. 45531); in the United Kingdom Billhop is the trading name of Billhop UK Limited, registered in England and Wales and authorised by the FCA (FRN 998735).
