According to its official website, Byblos Bank Europe (BBE) was established in 1976 as the first European expansion of the Byblos Bank Group and, from its offices in Brussels, Paris and London, serves European importing and exporting companies trading with emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. It offers corporate clients accounts in major currencies, term deposits, Mastercard credit cards and trade finance solutions such as letters of credit, documentary collections and guarantees; personal clients multicurrency current accounts, cards, deposits and loans; and correspondent banking for financial institutions. The site says Byblos Bank Europe S.A. is authorised and regulated by the National Bank of Belgium and the FSMA, and that its London branch is deemed authorised by the PRA. On the Bank of England list of 1 Oct 2026, Byblos Bank Europe SA appears among EEA banks authorised to accept deposits through a UK branch while in Supervised Run-Off; it is listed in the FCA register with status "EEA Authorised" and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA.
