According to its official website, CaixaBank is the leading financial group in the Spanish market in banking and insurance; it serves more than 21 million customers in the Iberian market through over 4,500 branches and owns 100% of Banco BPI in Portugal. The bank has been present in the UK since 2016; the London branch of CaixaBank, S.A. at 20 Fenchurch Street works only with corporate clients in the UK. The branch offers medium and long-term fixed or variable rate loans, guarantees, short-term credit facilities, supplier payment management, trade finance products such as letters of credit and export collections, SEPA and international transfers, bulk payments through CaixaBankNow and demand deposits. The site says eligible deposits are protected by the FSCS up to a total of £120,000. According to the Bank of England list and the FCA register, CaixaBank SA is authorised by the PRA to accept deposits through its London branch and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA.
