According to its official website, cdbbank is the trading name of The Cyprus Development Bank Public Company Ltd. The bank was established in 1963 as a public company to support the economic development of Cyprus, obtained a full banking licence from the Central Bank of Cyprus in 2001, was privatised in 2008 with prominent Cypriot business groups as shareholders and adopted the cdbbank name in 2009. It is headquartered in Nicosia and runs one business centre in Nicosia and one in Limassol. The bank serves large corporates, SMEs, international clients, institutional investors, provident and pension funds and high net worth individuals. Its products include current and savings accounts, fixed-term deposits, corporate financing, trade finance, foreign exchange and forward contracts, wealth management, custody services, Mastercard debit cards and e-banking.
