According to its official website, Edgewater Markets provides FX trading technology and liquidity aggregation solutions to banks, asset managers, hedge funds and brokers; it says its founders launched an FX agency desk in New York in 2009, that it opened its London office in 2010 and that it serves more than 350 clients. Its UK services are provided by Edgewater Markets Limited (FRN 988539), based in London (30 Crown Place), which the site says is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA); according to Companies House the company was incorporated in 2013. The site says this company's services are available only to persons who qualify as professional clients or eligible counterparties under FCA rules and are not available to retail clients. Its flagship EdgeFX product combines liquidity sourced from bank and non-bank market makers with smart order routing, anonymous or disclosed matching and FIX API connectivity; EdgeFX Custom can be offered under the client's own brand. It offers deliverable FX, spot gold, silver, platinum and palladium, and NDFs in Asian, European and Latin American currencies. The site says it is a signatory to the FX Global Code of Conduct.
