According to its official website, EMKAP is an investment group that began operating in December 2006 and provides investment, safekeeping and securities brokerage services. Its EU business is run by EMKAP Ltd (formerly MeritKapital Ltd), based in Limassol (256 Arch. Makarios III Avenue) and listed in the CySEC register under licence 077/06. The group says it opened FCA-authorised EMKAP UK Ltd in London in 2017 and expanded into Nigeria in 2025 with EmKap Limited, based in Lagos and, according to the site, regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria. The company offers brokerage in emerging-market Eurobonds, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA and Latin America, and in high-yield bonds, custody and clearing through a direct Euroclear account and SWIFT connectivity, portfolio management, dealing on own account, repo financing, primary-market issues and underwriting, as well as global equities and ETFs and FX and hedging solutions.
