According to its official website, FiveWest provides settlement infrastructure for cross-border capital movement in Africa and Asia; services are provided by FiveWest Global (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town (De Waterkant). The company says it holds an authorised FSP licence from the FSCA (FSP 51619) and an over-the-counter derivatives provider (ODP) licence, a SARB mandate for international payments, PASA System Operator and Third-Party Payment Provider status, and primary FIC accountable institution standing. Its services include an OTC FX and crypto desk with no public order book, ZAR collections from South African customers via Open Banking or EFT, automated ZAR payouts and an Earn product paying up to 10% a year on ZAR, USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and SOL balances. The site says FiveWest is infrastructure for high-volume businesses rather than a crypto exchange for individuals, and that crypto assets are held with the licensed custodian Ceffu.
