In the UK, Galaxy Digital UK Limited is registered with the FCA as a cryptoasset firm under the Money Laundering Regulations (MLR); this registration is an anti-money-laundering registration, not an investment-services licence. According to the company's announcement of 2 April 2025, Galaxy Digital UK also obtained FCA authorisation for derivatives trading, investment banking and fund distribution from its London office.
