According to its official website, GoCardless is a London-based payment institution that lets businesses collect payments by bank payment and describes itself as "a Mollie company". It says it serves more than 100,000 businesses, from small firms to enterprises, and processes more than USD 130bn in payments a year. Its products include one-off and invoice payments, subscription and instalment collection (Direct Debit), recurring Pay by Bank, outbound payments to suppliers, Success+ for retrying failed payments, Protect+ fraud protection and open banking data services connecting to more than 2,300 banks in the UK and Europe; more than 350 integrations, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Zuora and Salesforce, and an API are offered. The services are aimed at businesses; the payers are those businesses' customers. The site says GoCardless Ltd (company no 07495895) is authorised by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 for the provision of payment services (597190). The address is Sutton Yard, 65 Goswell Road, London EC1V 7EN. According to Companies House the company was incorporated in 2011. This information is the company's own statement.
