According to its official website, HBL Bank UK is a London-based niche bank whose UK presence began in 1961 with the first London branch of Habib Bank Limited. The site says the bank took the name HBL Bank UK Limited in December 2018 and is owned by HBL, the largest commercial bank in Pakistan.
