According to its official website, KBC Bank London Branch is the UK commercial banking unit of KBC Bank NV, part of the Brussels-based KBC Group; the KBC group was created in 1998 when two Belgian banks (Kredietbank and CERA Bank) merged with the Belgian insurer ABB.
