According to its official website, Kepler Cheuvreux is an independent Paris-based European financial services company specialising in research, execution, fixed income and credit, structured solutions, corporate finance and asset management. Its origins go back to Kepler Capital Markets, founded in 1997 as Julius Baer Brokerage; the company took its current name in 2013 after acquiring Cheuvreux from Crédit Agricole CIB. The site says the group has about 700 employees in 14 financial centres across Europe, the US and the Middle East, serves 1,600 institutional clients and covers more than 1,000 stocks in Europe; its KCx execution platform supports equities, fixed income, derivatives, ETFs and convertible bonds.
