According to its official website, MCB (The Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd) is an integrated banking and financial services provider founded in 1838 that describes itself as the leading player in the Mauritian banking sector; its head office is in Port Louis. The bank serves retail, private banking, SME, corporate and institutional clients with accounts and deposits, loans, cards, international payments, trade finance, custody, capital markets and FX and money market services. The ultimate holding company is MCB Group Ltd; its banking investments sit under MCB Investment Holding Ltd, and the group also has banks in Seychelles, Madagascar and the Maldives.
