According to its official website, Mega Equity is the brand of Mega Equity Securities and Financial Services Public Ltd, a Nicosia-based public joint stock company established on 17 December 1999. The company operates as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) under licence 011/03 from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC); it has been a member of the Cyprus Stock Exchange since January 2000, received its CySEC licence in May 2003, was licensed to operate in Greece by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and the Athens Stock Exchange in 2006, and is a member of the Athens Stock Exchange and the Athens Derivatives Exchange. The site says it has provided brokerage services to more than 4,000 investors. Services include brokerage in equities, bonds, ETFs and derivatives on global markets (direct market access to 841 ETFs), personal investment advice through certified advisers and sub-advisory services for fund managers, and portfolio management, risk management and depositary services for alternative investment funds (AIFs).
