According to its official website, Nedbank Private Wealth is a boutique wealth manager and private bank belonging to South Africa-based Nedbank Group, whose roots go back to 1831. Nedbank Private Wealth Limited is registered in the Isle of Man and licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority; its London office opened in 2008 and the branch was registered in December 2008. The bank also has offices in the Isle of Man and Jersey and a representative office in Dubai. Its services are aimed at high-net-worth individuals, expatriates and structures such as trusts and family offices; its London private banking services target clients who can place more than 1 million GBP in deposits and investments with the bank. Products include private current accounts in 15 currencies, fixed term deposits of one to twelve months from 25,000 GBP, a Visa Platinum debit card, foreign exchange, wealth planning, investment management, residential, expat and buy-to-let mortgages, and Lombard loans; accounts can be accessed online and through a mobile app. The site says the London branch is authorised by the PRA and regulated by the FCA and the PRA, which the Bank of England list and the FCA register confirm.
