According to its official website, Octa (formerly OctaFX) is a forex and CFD brand operating since 2011; it dropped "FX" from its name in 2023. octabroker.com, which serves international clients including those in Turkey, is operated by Versustrategy Inc, registered in Saint Lucia under business registration number 2025-00917, and the client agreement is made with this company. For this entity the site gives only a company registration, states no regulatory licence, and its agreement says it is not licensed or authorised in certain countries. octatrade.co, part of the same network, is operated by Octa Markets Inc, registered in Saint Lucia (2023-00092), which also states no licence. The brand's only licensed entity is Octa Markets Cyprus Ltd, authorised by CySEC under number 372/18, which serves EU clients through octaeu.com; in other words, the entity serving international clients is unlicensed. The former main site octafx.com is no longer in use, and the octa.com domain is not related to the brand. The company offers CFDs on currency pairs, metals, energy, indices, cryptocurrencies, shares and ETFs through OctaTrader, MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 accounts; a copy trading app is also available. The minimum deposit is 25 USD. Leverage on international accounts is up to 1:1000 on forex and gold. The international site does not accept clients from some countries, including Canada, the EU, the US, the UK, Japan, New Zealand and the Philippines. This information is the company's own statement.
