According to its official website, OVEX is an Africa-focused provider of cross-border payments, wholesale FX and digital asset infrastructure for institutions; it says it has more than 50 institutional clients, processes over USD 222 million a month and offers more than 16 currency-pair corridors across Africa, the UK and the EU. Its services include crypto trading, Quick Convert currency conversion, a high-volume OTC desk (minimum order size ZAR 250,000), cross-border payments, prime brokerage for brokers, private placements and API access; the firm says it uses stablecoins as a settlement layer and charges no direct trading fee, pricing through the spread instead. The website says OVEX is an authorised financial services provider regulated by the FSCA; the FSCA register lists OVEX FSP (Pty) Ltd (FSP 50776) and OVEX (Pty) Limited (FSP 53922, authorised for crypto assets) at a Cape Town address. The website footer names Chameleon Capital Canada Inc, registered with FINTRAC in Canada as a money services business (MSB, C100001157); the fees page shows FSCA, FCA, AMF and MSB marks but gives no entity name or registration number for FCA and AMF.
