According to its official website, Paynetics is a licensed provider that designs, builds and operates end-to-end payment services so that non-financial companies can offer payment functions to their own clients. The site states that Paynetics AD (company no 131574695, Sofia) is an e-money institution licensed by the Bulgarian National Bank and passported across the EU, and that Paynetics UK Ltd (company no 12481335) is an e-money institution licensed by the FCA to provide services in the UK and a wholly owned subsidiary of Paynetics AD. Services include individual and business payment accounts with dedicated IBANs and UK account numbers with sort codes, SEPA, SEPA Instant and Faster Payments transfers, branded Visa and Mastercard cards enabled for Apple Pay and Google Pay, e-commerce and POS card acceptance, open banking (PIS/AIS) and value-added services such as onboarding and KYC/KYB, reconciliation and fraud monitoring.
