According to its official website, PAYSTRAX is a financial technology company providing card payment acceptance (acquiring) to merchants in the EEA and UK; as a Visa and Mastercard principal member it acquires card transactions directly. Its services are an online payment gateway, in-store POS payments, multi-currency acceptance, risk and fraud management, card payouts, Apple Pay and Google Pay acceptance, Click to Pay, and settlement in 17 fiat currencies or stablecoin; it serves sectors such as financial brokerage, forex and CFDs, iGaming, retail and hospitality, and uses IC++ pricing. The company says it opened offices in Vilnius and Reykjavik in 2018 after acquiring a Bank of Lithuania payment institution licence, obtained its FCA licence in 2023 and acquired UK-based Nochex in 2025, and that it has more than 150 staff, more than 1,500 merchants and five international offices. The site states that PAYSTRAX Ltd is a licensed payment institution authorised and regulated by the FCA, and PAYSTRAX UAB a licensed payment institution supervised by the Bank of Lithuania.
