According to its official website, Pliant is a corporate payments company that has offered businesses app- and API-based payment solutions since 2020, with its headquarters in Berlin and offices in London, New York, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Lisbon and Helsinki. Its services include corporate credit cards for every use case, business accounts for global payments, FX and cross-border transfers, credit and financing, spend management and approval workflows, accounts payable automation, accounting and travel integrations, and white-label card programmes and APIs for banks and platforms. The site says that in the EU the cards are issued by Pliant Oy, an e-money institution supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, and in the United Kingdom by Transact Payments Limited, authorised by the Gibraltar FSC. According to the FCA register, the UK company Pliant Payments Limited became an Authorised Electronic Money Institution on 5 October 2026 (FRN 1041998); the site does not yet mention this authorisation.
