According to its official website, Plum is a mobile app that makes saving and investing easier for individual users. It offers automated saving rules, an easy access savings account provided by Lloyds Bank, a Cash ISA, a 95-day notice account, a Lifetime ISA, the Plum Interest money market fund, a Stocks and Shares ISA with 3,000 stocks and more than 25 funds, and pensions; the Stocks and Shares ISA can be opened with a first £1. According to the footer, e-money services are provided by Modulr FS Limited or Plum Fintech Payments Limited depending on when the account was opened; Plum Fintech Payments Limited is authorised by the FCA as an electronic money institution (FRN 1023776), and from October 2026 new accounts are opened directly with this company. Investment and credit broking is carried out by FCA-authorised Saveable Limited (FRN 739214); Plum Fintech Limited is registered with the FCA as an account information service provider (FRN 836158). In the EU, Plum Money CY Limited in Cyprus serves clients under a CySEC licence (407/21). The group's Cyprus entity Plum Fintech CY Limited is listed in the Central Bank of Cyprus register as an account information service provider (AISP). This information is the company's own statement.

Across the complaints, delayed or missing withdrawals, ISA/LISA transfers and sale proceeds, restricted accounts and difficulty reaching a human agent stand out.
