According to its official website, PXP is a payments company whose roots go back to Servebase (later PXP Solutions), founded in the 1980s, and CQR (later Kalixa), which began operating in 2001; it was rebranded as PXP Group in 2018 and says it obtained its FCA licence in the United Kingdom in 2008 and principal membership of Visa and Mastercard in 2011. It offers enterprise businesses in-store payments (POS, tap, virtual terminal), online payments, payment orchestration and alternative payment methods, fraud prevention and chargeback management (PXP Protect), reporting (PXP Data) and financing, leasing and FX solutions (PXP Capital), focusing on retail, gaming, hospitality, cruise and travel. It states EUR 35 billion of yearly processing volume, more than 1,000 merchants and offices in the United Kingdom, Austria, Bulgaria, India and the United States. According to the footer, PXP is authorised by the FCA (FRN 504318), with its registered office at The Corn Mill, 1 Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire.
