According to its official website, QIB UK is the UK bank of the Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) group; the UK-incorporated QIB (UK) Plc is headquartered at 43 Grosvenor Street, London, and aims to be the bank of choice for Qatari and GCC clients in the UK. The bank offers Sharia-compliant services: for high-net-worth clients, a GBP current account and debit card, instant access and notice savings accounts in GBP, USD and EUR, Wakala deposits of 3 months to 3 years, foreign exchange and Murabaha finance for residential property in London (minimum relationship balance for Private Banking 1,000,000 GBP); structured real estate finance for residential and commercial property in the UK; and fixed-term deposits, notice accounts and spot FX for corporate and institutional clients.
