According to its official website, Real Remit provides online money transfers from the United Kingdom to other countries. The site says customers register on the website or the mobile app, choose the country and amount, see the rate and fees and pay by debit or credit card; the money is sent to the recipient's mobile wallet such as M-Pesa, to cash pickup points at agents around the world or to a bank account. It says photo ID and proof of address may be requested for verification, that the service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that the company is regulated by the FCA (FRN 918942).
