According to its official website, Revolut is a financial technology and banking group launched in 2015 by Nik Storonsky, which says it serves more than 80 million customers worldwide and 13 million in the UK. The UK website is published in the name of Revolut Bank UK Ltd, registered at 30 South Colonnade, London; this bank is authorised by the PRA and regulated by the FCA and the PRA. Group company Revolut Ltd is authorised by the FCA as an electronic money institution, and investment services are provided by Revolut Trading Ltd. Through the mobile app it offers the free Standard plan and the Plus, Premium, Metal and Ultra plans, a bank account, Instant Access Savings, debit cards, the RevPoints rewards programme and access to more than 5,000 stocks and ETFs. The site states that bank accounts are protected by the FSCS up to GBP 120,000 per person. The group's Australian entity REVOLUT PAYMENTS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (AFSL 517589) holds an AFS licence from ASIC. The group's Cyprus entity Revolut Digital Assets (Europe) Ltd holds crypto-asset service provider (CASP) licence CASP001/25 from CySEC under MiCA. This information is the company's own statement.
