According to its official website, Skrill is a digital wallet brand that has served millions of customers since 2001; the site footer states that the Skrill brand belongs to Skrill Limited and names Paysafe group companies. With the Skrill wallet users can pay online without sharing bank details, send money to another Skrill user or to a bank account and make international transfers; the site says the wallet can also be used to fund betting, gaming and forex accounts. Products include the Skrill Prepaid Mastercard and a virtual card, Apple Pay and Google Pay support, crypto buying and selling, rate alerts, the Knect loyalty programme, account levels and a VIP programme; services are used via the website and the iOS and Android app. According to the UK footer, Skrill Limited is incorporated in England (company no 04260907, London), authorised by the FCA under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (FRN 900001) and also registered with the FCA as a cryptoasset firm; the Prepaid Mastercard is issued by the group company Paysafe Financial Services Limited (FRN 900015). Customers in the European Economic Area are served by Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, trading as Skrill and supervised by the Central Bank of Ireland.
