According to its official website, TWIG is a finance app that automates savings and lets users save towards goals they set; it offers saving plans such as rounding up purchases and saving the difference (Roundup), saving any balance above a set amount at the end of the month (Leftover), a fixed recurring amount (Routine) and one-off deposits, along with goal tracking and budgeting tools. The app is in closed beta and the company says it can only onboard a limited number of users at this time. TWIG Solutions Ltd is a DIFC-incorporated company (commercial licence CL4484) authorised by the DFSA under reference F006979 for providing money services and advising and arranging on money services under an Innovation Testing Licence; the company states that during this phase its services are tested under restricted conditions set by the DFSA and that clients' rights are limited in the event of a loss.
