According to its official website, UBA UK is United Bank for Africa (UK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Bank for Africa Plc, which is headquartered in Nigeria, listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and present in 20 African countries. The site says the firm was originally established as a financial services firm in 1995 and was fully acquired by UBA in 2013; its head office is at 36 Queen Street in London.
