According to its official website, Atlantic Securities is the brand of Atlantic Securities Ltd, incorporated in Cyprus in April 2001 under registration number HE119857, which began operating in August 2001. The Nicosia-based company says it is authorised and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under licence 005/03 and operates under MiFID II; it is a subsidiary of Atlantic Insurance Co. Public Ltd, a public company listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. The company has been a member of the Cyprus Stock Exchange since 2001 and a remote member of the Athens Exchange since 2006. It says a single account gives access to the Cyprus and Athens exchanges and more than 100 international market centres; for international markets it acts as an introducing broker for Interactive Brokers, and those accounts are opened with Interactive Brokers. The licence covers reception and transmission of orders, execution of orders on behalf of clients and portfolio management; the site also offers access to Franklin Templeton funds.
