According to its official website, BBVA UK is the UK branch of the BBVA group, a global financial group founded in 1857 with a strong position in Spain, the top financial institution in Mexico and the major shareholder of BBVA Garanti in Turkey. Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., incorporated in Spain, is registered in England and Wales as an overseas company under number FC014702; its London office is registered as branch BR000005 at One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, and the bank is authorised by the Bank of Spain and supervised by the European Central Bank and the Bank of Spain. Under business and corporate banking the branch offers accounts in local and foreign currency, sustainable and digital loans, bilateral and syndicated financing, bonds and guarantees, trade products, cash management and currency and interest-rate hedging; it also provides individual customers with BBVA Net online banking.
