According to its official website, China Construction Bank (CCB) is a Chinese bank whose predecessor, the People's Construction Bank of China, was founded in October 1954, and which describes itself as the second largest bank in China and one of the largest banks in the world. CCB's London branch was established in the UK on 22 December 2014 and has been designated by the People's Bank of China as the official renminbi (RMB) clearing bank in the UK.
