According to its official website, Chang Hwa Bank is a Taiwanese bank whose origins go back to Kabushiki Kaisha Shoka Ginko, founded in Changhua on 5 June 1905, and which was re-incorporated under the law of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on 1 March 1947. The bank has branches in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Manila and a subsidiary in mainland China; the London branch is at 6-8 Tokenhouse Yard.
