According to its official website, KEXIM Bank (UK) is the London subsidiary of Korea Eximbank (The Export-Import Bank of Korea); it was established in 1992 as Kexim International Limited, took the name KEXIM Bank UK and began business the same year, and its capital was raised to 81 million pounds in 2020. The bank mainly serves Korean companies in the UK and Europe or entities whose business is closely connected with Korean companies. Its services include equipment and working capital loans to overseas subsidiaries of Korean institutions, export credits to Korean exporters and importers (including acting as fronting lender for Korea Eximbank), export and import factoring, bond investments, and agent syndication and escrow account services; the bank also carries out research in international finance and export credit at Korea Eximbank's request.
