According to its official website, Kuda FX is the brand of Kuda Foreign Exchange (Pty) Ltd, part of the Kuda Holdings group and a registered foreign exchange intermediary since 2013. The company says it is an FSCA-registered financial services provider (FSP 46310), authorised by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) to transact as a foreign exchange intermediary, a subscriber to the SAATA FX Global Code, and that Investec is its authorised dealer. It offers private and corporate clients offshore and onshore currency transfers using single discretionary and foreign investment allowances, exchange control processing for non-residents, corporate FX solutions for importers and exporters, currency risk management and hedging, payroll FX for Employer of Record businesses, arbitrage based on price differences between local and foreign crypto exchanges, financial emigration, salary and currency management for people working abroad, and travel FX. It says the Investec Prime Money Call account opened in the client's name has no transaction charges and no minimum balance, and that clients have entrusted it to move more than 15 billion ZAR offshore.
