According to its official website, LHV Bank is a subsidiary of LHV Group, which is based in Estonia and listed on Nasdaq Baltic. The group entered the UK in 2018 with a branch, founded the London-registered LHV Bank Limited in 2021 and became a fully authorised bank in 2023. For individuals the bank offers, through its mobile app only, an interest-earning current account, an easy access savings account, a Fixed Rate Bond that takes deposits between 1,000 and 1,000,000 pounds and a debit card. It provides commercial property and buy-to-let loans of 0.5–15 million pounds to businesses, and banking infrastructure with sterling and euro accounts to more than 200 financial institutions. The site says eligible deposits are protected by the FSCS up to 120,000 pounds. According to the Bank of England list and the FCA register, LHV Bank Limited is authorised by the PRA to accept deposits and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA.
