According to the official website of Shinhan Financial Group, Shinhan Bank London Branch is the London branch of Seoul-based Shinhan Bank, launched on 7 July 1982 as Korea's first private bank. According to the bank's July 2025 announcement as reported in the press, the branch moved to new offices at 8 Bishopsgate; a key hub of the bank's global strategy for over 30 years, it acts as the regional headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and set up a Global Capital Market (GCM) desk in January 2025.
