According to its official website, SingX is a Singapore-headquartered payment services company founded in 2014 by a group of former bankers; it has run remittance operations in Singapore since 2017 and operates in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. It offers consumers international transfers to more than 180 countries and a SingX wallet, businesses mass payment tools for supplier and salary payments, and banks and payment intermediaries white-label and API solutions; the site says it adds no mark-up to live market rates and charges one fee shown upfront. Group company SingX Singapore Pte Ltd is licensed by MAS as a major payment institution (PS20200369); SingX (HK) Co Ltd holds a money service operator licence from the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, and SingX Australia Pty Ltd, incorporated on 7 February 2018, holds ASIC AFS licence 508309 and an AUSTRAC remittance provider registration.
