According to its official website, UK First Fintech is a company founded in 2019, based in the News Building at London Bridge, that provides payment and electronic money services to businesses and their customers. The site says it works with organisations in e-commerce, hospitality, air transport and tourism and with fintech partners. Its products are online merchant payments (accepting card and other payment methods at a website checkout, with merchant settlement), an e-money wallet for holding e-money and making local or international transfers, business prepaid cards that can only spend the loaded amount and support contactless payments and ATM withdrawals, and BIN sponsorship for fintechs launching their own card programmes. Cards are managed in the UKFF Mobile Banking app. The site says UK First Fintech Limited has been an Electronic Money Institution authorised by the FCA since 17 April 2020 (FRN 901002), and that e-money is not a bank deposit, is not covered by the FSCS and is held under a safeguarding framework.
