According to its official website, Bank of Ireland UK is a trading name of Bank of Ireland (UK) plc, whose shareholder is Bank of Ireland and whose registered office is at 45 Gresham Street, London. The site says it has supported customers in Northern Ireland for almost 200 years and in the Great Britain market for over 40 years, has been the Post Office's exclusive financial services partner since 2004 and operates around 1,600 Bank of Ireland/Post Office cash machines across the UK.
