According to its official website, FXCC was founded in 2010 by a group of foreign exchange market professionals and is headquartered in Cyprus. FX Central Clearing Ltd in Limassol, which serves EU/EEA clients through fxcc.eu, holds a CySEC licence (121/10). Central Clearing Ltd, which serves international clients through fxcc.com, is registered on the island of Mohéli, Comoros, and states that it is authorised by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA) under a brokerage licence (BFX2024085); Nicosia is given as its operations address. The site also lists company registrations in St Vincent and the Grenadines and Nevis; these are not licences. A licence information window on fxcc.com still claims a VFSC licence for Central Clearing Ltd; however, the company does not appear in the VFSC licensee list, and in a notice published in October 2021 the VFSC named Central Clearing Ltd (fxcc.com) among companies not incorporated or licensed by it. Japan's FSA also added Central Clearing Ltd (FXCC) to its list of unregistered foreign firms in March 2020. The company offers forex, crypto, metal, index, energy and share CFDs to international clients through the ECN XL account on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and FXCC Copy; the lowest deposit amount is 10 USD via Neteller and Skrill, leverage is up to 1:1000, and a 100% bonus of up to 2,000 USD is given on the first deposit. In the EU the ECN XL account starts from 100, and leverage is up to 1:30 for retail clients. This information is the company's own statement.

Across the complaints, refused and delayed withdrawals, crypto withdrawal fees, and allegations of slippage and bonuses removed without notice stand out.
