According to its official website, GF Financial Markets (GFFM) is a London-based futures and options broker with roots dating back to 1976; the company was founded in 1976 as Sogemin Metals Limited, part of the Umicore group, later operated within Natexis and Natixis, and was acquired in 2013 by GF Futures (HK) Co. Limited, part of the GF Securities group. Services are provided by GF Financial Markets (UK) Limited (registration no 114237), based in London (1 Finsbury Square), which the site says is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA); it says its parent group GF Securities is dual listed on the Shenzhen and Hong Kong exchanges. GFFM is a Category 1 Ring Dealing Member of the London Metal Exchange, a member of ICE Futures Europe and ICE Endex and a clearing member of ICE Clear Europe, and provides execution and clearing on CME group exchanges, the Hong Kong Exchange, ICE Futures US and the Singapore Exchange. It offers metals, energy, softs and agricultural products, and FX, index and interest rate futures and options; clients access account information through the PandA portal. According to its best execution policy, the firm deals only with eligible counterparties and professional clients and does not deal with retail clients.
