According to its official website, KDB London Branch is the London branch of The Korea Development Bank (KDB), founded in 1954 under The Korea Development Bank Act to supply industrial capital to Korean industries and the national economy and operating as a government-run bank. The bank's London presence began with an office opened in May 1975, became a local subsidiary in June 1989 and was converted into a full-scale branch in August 1997. KDB London is the European hub of the KDB global network and, from its office at 22 Bishopsgate, provides services in corporate finance, trade finance, derivatives, securities investment and treasury; the European network also includes subsidiaries in Ireland and Hungary and Frankfurt.
