According to its official website, Kingdom Bank describes itself as a Christian bank whose roots go back to the Assemblies of God Property Trust, set up in 1954 to help churches buy premises; Kingdom Bank was launched as a subsidiary of that charity on 1 January 2005 and in 2020 was acquired by a group of Christian investors whose largest shareholder is Stewardship. It is headquartered in Nottingham. For individuals the bank offers instant access and notice savings accounts, Cash ISAs (1 pound minimum balance for the 32-Day Notice Cash ISA) and 6 to 24-month fixed-rate savings bonds, as well as home, consent-to-let, buy-to-let and retirement interest-only mortgages. It provides churches and charities with deposit and reserve accounts, mortgages, insurance and property services, and businesses with savings and insurance broking. Accounts are managed through online banking and a mobile app, and the site says the bank is a member of the FSCS. According to the Bank of England list and the FCA register, Kingdom Bank Limited is authorised by the PRA to accept deposits and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA.
