According to its official website, Omipay is a cross-border payment platform connecting merchants with Chinese consumers; it offers payment channels such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, POLi, UnionPay, JD Pay and QQ Wallet through a single integration, provides online and in-store payment acceptance, split settlement and API services, and says it settles collections to merchants' accounts on the same day via Australia's NPP fast payment network. The Monix brand linked from the site is a multi-currency cross-border wallet offering accounts in more than 60 currencies, transfers to bank accounts in over 100 countries and to wallets such as Alipay and PayPal, and currency exchange. The site says Omipay was the first Chinese payment company in Australia to obtain its own AFS licence, number 495025; the Monix pages name the licensee as Omipay Global Pty Ltd, while ASIC's record shows the licence under OMIPAY PTY.
