The company says it opened offices in Vilnius and Reykjavik in 2018 after acquiring a Bank of Lithuania payment institution licence, obtained its FCA licence in 2023 and acquired UK-based Nochex in 2025, and that it has more than 150 staff, more than 1,500 merchants and five international offices. The site states that PAYSTRAX Ltd is a licensed payment institution authorised and regulated by the FCA, and PAYSTRAX UAB a licensed payment institution supervised by the Bank of Lithuania.
