The firm focuses on the institutional fund management market and high-net-worth (HNWI) clients; it offers full trading capability in bonds, derivatives, equities and fixed income, independent rated research on selected shares listed on the JSE and A2X, global equity market access for funds and operations support. The site says PSec was one of the first South African agency-only stockbrokers to trade on A2X and has expanded its stockbroking services into 81 countries. It also offers PSec GEARS, a suite of analytical tools for investment professionals that runs as an Excel add-in. The firm is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor and is black-owned and controlled. The Prescient group says it only does business through formal channels, does not offer investments via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or text messages, and warns against fraudsters using its name.
